Audiology Services

At Aaroh Early Intervention Centre – Cochlear Implant Center, our Audiology Services are dedicated to helping individuals of all ages achieve better hearing and improved communication. Whether you are experiencing hearing difficulties yourself or are concerned about your child’s hearing, our expert audiologists provide accurate diagnosis, guidance, and personalized hearing solutions.

We use state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and internationally approved testing protocols to identify the type and degree of hearing loss. Our goal is to ensure every patient receives the right intervention — from hearing aids to cochlear implants — based on their specific hearing needs.

Our comprehensive audiology services include:

  • Pure Tone Audiometry (PTA): Measures the softest sounds you can hear across different frequencies, helping determine the level and type of hearing loss.
  • Impedance Audiometry (Tympanometry): Evaluates the health and movement of the middle ear and eardrum to detect fluid, stiffness, or other conditions.
  • Brainstem Evoked Response Audiometry (BERA): Assesses how the hearing nerve and brain respond to sound — useful for newborns, children, and adults unable to respond in conventional tests.
  • Auditory Steady-State Response (ASSR): An advanced test that provides frequency-specific hearing thresholds, especially beneficial for very young children or individuals with special needs.
  • Newborn Hearing Screening (OAE): Early identification of hearing issues in babies to ensure prompt management and better speech and language outcomes. A quick, non-invasive test used especially for infants and children to check inner ear (cochlear) function.

Our team also provides counseling and guidance for patients and families, helping them understand test results and explore appropriate management options such as hearing aids or cochlear implants.

At Aaroh, we believe that better hearing leads to better living. With compassionate care, advanced technology, and expert evaluation, our audiologists are committed to helping every patient reconnect with the sounds that matter most.
